Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust will pause taking new ADHD referrals
From the 5 th February 2024, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust will pause taking new ADHD referrals to adult ADHD services in Oxford and Buckinghamshire.
The decision is largely due to the significant growth in referrals, the subsequent wait list that has developed and the limited capacity of the services to maintain clinical safety. There will be a formal review of this decision every three months. This pause is for new adult ADHD referrals. Patients already on the waiting list or having annual reviews by the adult ADHD service will not be affected.
However, patients cannot be on two waiting lists for the same service. Therefore, patients are encouraged to contact Oxford Health Foundation Trust directly so they can be removed from their list before an onward referral is made to another provider.
